One Month Old

Only a month ago, our little man was born. He has changed our lives to consisting mostly of feeding, changing diapers and clothes, sleeping, rocking, baby talk, and lots of songs provided by mommy.

At 1 month:
· He eats every 2 to 2 ½ hours.

· He’s awake more the past week than he has been since he arrived.

· He still hasn’t conquered the sleeping at night…no more than about 4 hours at a time.

· He’s now officially sleeping in his crib. Started in our bed, then the bassinet, then moved right on up to the crib. He was quite a loud sleeper from the beginning so mommy was actually very happy about this move. She hears every little thing while daddy seems to hear none at all:)

· He’s still in newborn clothes and diapers. Though those newborn onesies are getting awfully tight.

· His neck is getting much stronger.

· We took a poll and his favorite songs are Jesus Loves Me and anything Bob Seger. This is what mommy and daddy sing to him the most. I’ll let you guess who sings what. He says a little Hollywood night, Hollywood hills always does the trick.

· Likes to go for walks in his stroller. He sometimes even stays awake:)

· Loves to cuddle which I hope doesn’t end too soon.

Daddy and baby sleeping photos are the best!

My older brother, Kyle, has the exact photo from when he was a baby

Getting ready to take Gunnar home for the first time

Papa came to visit when we got home from the hospital

I think this one is so sweet of Gunnar's little hand on Grammie's chin.

BATHTIME!!!

My Aunt Terrie sent Gunnar this sweet onesie and we were sure to get his picture in it

We were so excited that one of my best friends, Sally, got to visit us. She was so helpful and we were even able to get away while Jeremy watched Gunnar to go to the pool a couple of times. I love you Sally!

Swimsuit gear...didn't actually get in the pool this trip, but had to get him dressed for the occasion. Jeremy's parents watched Gunnar while we got in the pool for a while.

Gunnar's cousin, Ava, was a great help when her and Aunt Megan came to visit. We love having them in town and miss them since them are so far from us (WA state). The few days they were here went by way too quick.

LOVE THIS PICTURE OF MY TWO BOYS!!!
