6 months

Here's what Gunnar is up to at 6 months:

  • Weighs 17lbs 10oz. / 29 in. long
  • Been sitting up by himself...but not for long and he always leans to the right
  • He is getting his first two teeth (both on the bottom) and am happy to say that as of right now we are still getting sleep
  • Loves his jumper! He can really get going!
  • Starting to roll everywhere. For the longest time he would never roll, but now he can't seem to get enough of it.
  • Tried lots of new veggies: green beans, squash, carrots, peas, and sweet potatoes
  • Wearing size 3 diaper and mainly 6-9 month clothes
  • Gets really excited when he sees his bottle. He puts in the lid in his mouth hoping he'll get the good stuff right away.
  • He seems like he's getting louder every week. He loves to talk to just about anyone or anything.
  • He's the best little boy.

This post is actually 6 months and a couple weeks...we've been very busy! Our little guy is growing, growing, growing. Jeremy and I find ourselves all the time just looking at him saying to each other, "Look how big he is." Then I usually get a little sad face because it is going so fast. You always hear it will be like that, but never know it I guess til it's actually happening to you. Lately, we've been trying to get all of our last minute Christmas stuff together, and Jeremy will tell you that I remind him everyday how many more days til I get to go home to Oklahoma! I'm pretty excited...pretty ecstatic if that's how you would describe being the most excited you can be about something. I can't wait to see family and friends...and for all to get to see our Gunnar. I'm also glad to say that Jeremy has finished another semester and only has two more semesters in order to finish his masters! He and I both can't wait til he's finished. Him to be done, and me for him to be home every night of the week and to no longer be paying for tuition. We're still finishing up our Christmas cards, so sorry they won't be arriving much earlier than Christmas!

About This Blog

This blog is mainly for friends and family to keep an eye on our family. We are unfortunately so far from many loved ones, but are very blessed to be able to keep everyone up to date through this blog. The Lord has truly blessed my family and I, and I would love to be able to share all those blessings. God bless
