3 Months Old!
A lot has taken place the last month as our Gunnar has continued to grow and grow and grow. He is getting so big so fast. We have both been getting back to the routine as Jeremy has been back to school for three weeks and I have just started back to work about a week and a half ago. Going back to work was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. The whole week before I was just counting down the hours til I would have to drop my little man off. The first day was definitely the hardest...the sunglasses didn't come off at work until I treated my first patient. I only called to check on him three times though, which I feel was reasonable.
Had to show off our OU and WSU gear right before football season begins!
Gotta love those big blue eyes!
This was my first day back to work. This is before the water works started...
I do have to say that the Lord has blessed us with an amazing babysitter. Her name is Angelica and she is truly wonderful. It has been so nice to drop off Gunnar and not have to worry about how he is being cared for. She sends me cute pictures on my phone so when I'm at lunch or leaving for the day he is the first thing I see...and I LOVE that!
This week Grammie is coming to visit (again...YAY!!!) We love it when she comes to visit! She will get her little grandson all to herself for a couple of days as Jeremy and I are at work. I think she is just a little excited about that. Well, we hope everyone is doing well as we are and feel very blessed that our little boy is a healthy and growing one!

Here's what he's up to at 3 months:
- Smiles and has this sweet little giggle (I'm still trying to catch it on video)
- Wearing a size 1/2 diaper, but not for very long.
- Still in 3 month clothes, but is able to wear some 3/6 months.
- Eats 5 to 5 1/2 ounces every 3 hours. Yes, the kid likes to eat as you can see it in the cheeks and thighs.
- He now sleeps through the night. YAY!!! We usually put him down around 8:30pm and we will wake him up if he is not already around 6:00am.
- He still hates it when you take his bottle away from him in the middle to burp. I mean he gets soooo mad! Luckily, he is able to take down the full amount and burp at the end without any spitting up...usually.
- His favorite toy is the activity mat where he just smiles and looks at himself in the little mirror the whole time. It really takes a while before he gets tired of himself.
- Always has his hands in his mouth.
- Loves the water be it the pool or bathtime!
- Able to follow you with his eyes around the room.
- Has acquired some mad dance skills that I force him to do with his arms. Jeremy says they are silly, but they sure do make him smile.
