The Reichman Family: Our 2nd Anniversary

Jeremy and I just celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe that on Sept. 19, 2 years ago, Jeremy became my husband. He is an incredible husband and new daddy to our Gunnar. He is an amazing provider and takes such great care of Gunnar and I. I feel like such a lucky lady for the Lord to have picked someone so special for me.

For our anniversary this year, Jeremy's parents took Gunnar for the night while we stayed the night at the Ritz. Our good friend, Micah, works at the Ritz here in Tucson so we got a smokin deal...it's nice to have friends in high places. Even though it was my first night away from Gunnar, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the sweet room, and the awesome waterslide. I think we liked the slide just a little too much.

I must also add that I was very proud of myself for not calling to check on him until we had been at the resort for a few hours. Here's a few pics from our stay.

On the day of our actual anniversary, we took Gunnar to Mt. Lemmon. It's one of my favorite places to go in Tucson, especially to get away from the heat. If you travel to the top of the mountain there is a ski lift and a cute little town called Summerhaven. There are lots of cute cabins and an amazing pizza/cookie place called the Cookie Cabin where we always choose to eat. This time I was very disappointed that I didn't save room for dessert...they have the most amazing cookies. Here are a few pictures for our day trip to Mt. Lemmon.
