Gunnar 4 months

I feel so blessed as I am writing this post knowing that our Gunnar is growing and healthy. I grow more in love with him everyday. I love going in his room in the morning to get him out of his crib and seeing that huge smile and his legs curling to his chest. Then trying to change his diaper being almost impossible as his legs will never leave his chest...he is always moving. I love his laugh. It is a simple thing like that makes me smile and thank the Lord that he is our little boy. I love that he is excited to see me when I get home from work, though I wish I could be with him all day. I love that when he sees Jeremy or I he will smile and burrough into the chest of whoever is holding him and then looks up to find us again...and then repeats the whole process. Thank you Jesus for all you have given me.

Grammy came to visit again in early September. She makes him a happy man.

Jeremy is the fingernail cutting king since it seems it's necessary to do every few days. I made him cry one time and refuse to do it again. It made me sad.

Here's what Gunnar's been up to at 4 months:

• Weighed 15 lbs, 25 inches long at his 4 month check-up.
• Wears a size 2 diaper.
• Has grown out of the 3 month onesies and wears mainly 6month clothing.
• Eats 6 to 6 1/2 oz every 3 hours.
• Sleeps from about 8:30pm to 5:45am. He is still a very early riser!
• Always has his hands or mine in his mouth.
• Grools constantly
• Makes this farting noise with his mouth...usually in the car on the way to Angelica's house.
• Loves to sit up against the pillows on our bed. He's getting sturdier on his own, but not quite there yet.
• Loves to go for runs with mom and dad...when we have the time to do so.
• Still loves and stays entertained in his swing when Jeremy and I are trying to tidy the house or make dinner.
• Loves to splash in the bathtub!
• Has the best laugh. I just love it.
• Just talks a lot to himself. I do have to say he is getting much louder and I think he likes it!
