Father's Day

I know on Father's Day we love to let everyone know just how special our husband/Daddy is. Well, Gunnar's daddy is very special to the both of us! I am very blessed to have him as a husband. He makes me smile and laugh, takes such good care of Gunnar and I, does a great job of comforting me when I'm homesick (God bless him!), and works so hard to make sure Gunnar and I have the things we need. I am also very lucky that my husband helps so much about the house. I hate cleaning!!! But, it makes it just a little easier not having to do it by myself. This is one thing that I am extremely thankful for.

Gunnar loves his daddy. He makes him laugh like no one else can! We like to call him the baby whisperer because when Jeremy rocks him he is out cold in no time! He loves it when Jeremy pushes him on the swing or throws him high in the air! He loves it when he is wandering through the house and will see him from a distance and go crawling over to say hi.

I love watching the two of them together. When I see the two of them outside watering the yard or hitting golf balls, it makes me realize how lucky Gunnar is to have the Daddy he has. I can't wait for the day he gets to tell him that!
